Ceramics

HaldeCraft ceramics begin life as slip-cast, hand-built, or wheel-thrown pieces and then are painted and glazed and put out into the world to bring you joy.

I learned ceramics like an old-school apprentice, at the feet of my grandmother who had a studio in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the pieces I make incorporate now-vintage molds that she bought then. In the last few years, slab-rolled and hand-built textured pieces have been setting fire to my creative energies.

My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio with confidence, mindfulness, and joy.

Soap

Woodsy, earthy, floral, masculine... whatever unique fragranced soap you're trying to find can be found here!

The base of this soap has a creamy, custard color to it; but some fragrances - especially those containing vanilla - can cause the soap to darken to a tan or even a dark brown. I try to wait until this begins to happen to photograph the soap so that you are aware of what you are getting; however, it does get darker over time so your soap, upon arrival, may be darker than photographed.

Useful Things

New at HaldeCraft, a variety of useful pieces made of bamboo and other different woods.

Boxes, charcuterie boards, cork coasters, cutting boards, dollhouse miniatures, keyholders, plant trellises, and more.

All mindfully created by me in order to joyfully connect with you!

Practical Items

Yarn

Handyed yarn, handspun yarn, spinning fiber, stitch markers, buttons, yarn bowls.... if you love yarn you're going to love these collections!

HaldeCraft HandDyed yarns started life in 2007 in a small yarn store in Gainesville, Florida, and all of the yarn is hand-dyed and lovingly re-skeined in a small home studio by someone who loves the fiber arts just as much as you do. Offerings include both multi-colored and semi-solid yarn colors (in coordinating shades for those who like to mix and match) and they come in a variety of base yarns.
